WINTER GONE WILD, THE SEASONS UNOFFICIAL UNIFORM

Whilst on an Art Direction for Fashion short course at Central Saint Martins, we were tasked to research predicted trends for AW 24/25 and respond with an editorial pitch presentation. After highlighting four reoccurring elements from the March shows, I chose to focus on the anticipated “fur” coat trend. My editorial hero-ing the “fur” coat, a piece typically associated with loud luxury and boldness, told the important story of having fun with over the top expression even in life’s mundane activities. I was inspired by 90’s sitcom “The Nanny” and the way Fran Fine always dressed too impressed.
